Seven new guides with hygienic-sanitary measures for the safe reopening of the tourism sector are already available on the website of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

These are the ones corresponding to:

-natural Protected Areas

-Nautical-sports facilities and nautical activities

-night entertainment

-amusement and leisure parks

-Tourist transport (tourist bus companies, rent-a-car, cable transport and water tourist transport)

-visits to warehouses and other industrial facilities

-cultural, historical and natural places

-single public spaces

For the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver, "these guides are essential to be able to restart tourism with the maximum health guarantees and thus offer confidence to our visitors, but also to workers and residents that Spain is a safe destination."

This is in addition to the eleven guides on 'Measures to reduce contagion by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the tourism sector' published on May 10 for hotels and tourist apartments, hostels / hostels, rural accommodation, tourism guides, spas, camping sites, restaurants, travel agencies, active tourism and ecotourism, golf courses, and tourist information offices.

The guides have been prepared together with the Autonomous Communities, the sector and the social agents, and contain service, cleaning and disinfection, maintenance and risk management specifications for the different subsectors of the tourism sector.

In addition to being homogeneous for the entire Spanish territory, they are the only ones validated by the Ministry of Health.
