They are committed to designing solutions that allow "the conclusion of the season in a coherent way."

Following the videoconference meeting held today to deal with the current health crisis due to coronavirus disease, UEFA, the European Club Association (ECA), the European Leagues and FIFPro Europe (Union of European Footballers) have agreed on a contingency plan compared to the 2019-20 sports season. In relation to club competitions, they establish these 3 points:

-A commitment to complete all national and European club competitions by the end of the current sports season, i.e. no later than June 30, 2020, in case the situation improves and resuming the game is appropriate enough and prudent.

-Possible limitations or falls of the current exclusive calendar spaces, which could result in the programming of national league games in the middle of the week and the programming of matches of UEFA club competitions on the weekends.

-Possible adaptations of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds in the event of a late end to the 2019/20 sports season, i.e. after June 30, 2020.

Furthermore, in their resolution they affirm that a working group made up of representatives of UEFA, leagues and clubs will be established immediately to examine the relevant issues of the calendar and design solutions that allow the resumption and / or conclusion of the current season of consistent way.
