TOrcos de la Frontera, November 11, 2020. Maravillas Collantes has denounced the lack of opportunities that young people in Arcos have when it comes to completing their higher education in hospitality.

“It draws powerfully the attention that from the government team there is talk of promoting the city as the tourist gateway to the Sierra de Cádiz and yet the Ministry of Education is not required to implement higher degrees in hospitality studies that allow young people to continue training in their town, without training there is no future for youth”, Has denounced the coordinator of VOX.

"The lack of higher education in the Arcense institutes supported with public funds discriminates against students whose families have few resources, since they have to abandon their professional career due to lack of economic means, as their families cannot take care of the expense of studying more than 80 kilometers from his home, ”Collantes lamented.

“If we want to bet on tourism and hospitality, not only in Arcos but in the entire Sierra de Cádiz, the competent public administrations in education will have to make an effort and bet on the future of young people, who are increasingly finding more difficulty in charting a path towards their future ”, insisted the coordinator of VOX Arcos.

“It should be the obligation of all political forces to work to eliminate the existing gap between the towns of the Sierra de Cádiz and the rest of the cities of the province, It is about time that a young man from Arce had the same opportunities as a young man from the capital ”, the VOX coordinator remarked.

Therefore, desde VOX Arcos, we are going to raise this problem to our deputies in the Andalusian Parliament so that they take it to the Education Commission to urge the Ministry of Education of the Junta de Andalucía that for the next school year, our town has a higher degree in hospitality.
