Seville, November 19, 2020. The Municipal VOX Group in the Seville City Council has asked the socialist mayor of the city this Thursday, Juan Espadas, about his position in relation to the PSOE-Bildu pact to support the General State Budgets (PGE).

The spokeswoman for the Municipal VOX Group, Cristina Peláez, has questioned the mayor at the beginning of the ordinary plenary session this Thursday and has made the future relations of VOX with the Socialist Group and with the mayor himself subject to the response of the first mayor about an infamous and despicable pact with the political heirs of those who have caused so much damage to Spanish society, with particular fury in Seville where, among other victims, they assassinated councilman Alberto Jiménez Becerril and his wife Ascensión García Ortiz. Surprisingly, Juan Espadas has kept an unfortunate silence that has been interpreted by VOX as an implicit support for the PSOE pact with the filoetarras of Bildu.

The VOX Municipal Group in the Seville City Council regrets, therefore, that the representative of all Sevillians has aligned himself, with his silence, with the heirs of those who murdered more than a thousand Spaniards, men, women and children. Military, police, civil guards, journalists and politicians, including the Spanish Socialist Workers Party itself, a political formation that daily remembers the deceased Republicans of the Civil War that occurred more than 80 years ago, but prefers to forget those killed by ETA just over ten years ago.

The mayor of Seville has lost the opportunity offered by VOX to express his rejection of a pact with the heirs of the terrorists, which has allowed, among other issues, to bring the murderers of Alberto and Ascen closer to the Basque Country, while Seville's favorite sons as Alfonso Guerra or Felipe GonzálezThey have rejected, as unworthy, a pact that should never have been produced with the filoetarras and that the mayor of Seville has decided to support in the most shameful way.
