The VOX Group in the Ceuta Assembly will bring to the next Plenary a proposal related to the Transparency Law, access to public information and good governance. A Law that aims, among others, to increase and reinforce transparency in public activity, to recognize and guarantee access to information. In addition, the training places special interest in 'active advertising', and points out that in the case of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, this principle of 'active advertising' presents “severe deficiencies” in its practical translation.
The political formation will propose the publication of the updated organization chart that identifies the heads of the different bodies and their profile and professional career, beyond that of the directors. Currently, the organization chart, VOX argues, "does not contain such a detailed relationship, since it stops at city councilors, without mentioning general directors and deputy general directors, among others."
In addition, VOX Ceuta will propose the updating of the regulations referred to on the aforementioned website and, especially, of the Regulations of the Assembly of the Autonomous City of Ceuta. And it is that, "the Regulation of the Assembly of Ceuta that appears on the previous website has not yet been updated despite counting two years since its modification", highlights the training.
For the training led by Juan Sergio Redondo, "it is very complex for citizens to exercise a task of oversight of political power in order to make correct political decisions and shape that critical society referred to in section I of the Transparency Law."
