The affirmation of the Councilor of Compromís, Verónica Ruiz, saying that: "Vox condemns millions of women to charge less for their work and destroys all the consensus work we have done" does not fit reality and only seeks the discredit of a party like VOX that defends women in all circumstances, not only when it is attacked by a man, and that wants to end domestic violence without being swept away by the big business of gender violence.
VOX, on the Board of Spokespersons, yielded to all the requirements of a text that it does not share, asking only, for its favorable vote, to change, in point 1 of the proposals, “macho and gender” to “intra-family”. To this small, minimal change, the Councilor of Compromís refused, stating that she would not change while she was a councilor.
VOX will always defend, as it has done so far, the equality of women in all areas, but it will never be in the game that it is the gender perspective that soaks all political decisions.
Finally, Luciano Ferrer has added: ” Remember that Compromís has vetoed the institutional declaration presented by my party on International Women's Day with the sole argument that it is signed by VOX. That is really the sense of democracy they have in Compromís"
