The President and Deputy Spokesperson of the VOX Valencian Community Parliamentary Group, José María Llanos, today asked for the total salary equalization of the National Police and the Civil Guard with respect to the regional and local police forces and has advocated for their reclassification as group B and equal the perceptions of overtime as well as the rest of the forces, since they are charging 8 euros per overtime when other bodies receive 20 and 24 euros.
José María Llanos, during the Justice Commission, has presented an addition amendment to the Proposition No of Law (PNL) of the Popular Parliamentary Group, which has been accepted and supported by the PP and Citizens, in which he has proposed to apply the increase salary to the general specific supplement, and not to the singular, "because when the agents go to second activity or retirement they lose it and there is a redress with respect to other bodies".
It has also insisted on guaranteeing the Remuneration Law of the State Security Forces and Bodies so that both the National Police and the Civil Guard do not receive remuneration below those that the Local Police and the Autonomous Police have, taking into account that their responsibilities and powers are greater and national in scope.
The President and Deputy Speaker has given another example of redress: “In attending the trials, despite being on vacation, the National Police and the Civil Guard are obliged to attend and then they are compensated for those hours with vacation hours; on the other hand, other bodies receive financial rewards for their attendance at trials ”.
Compromís wants to boost the economy with public employment
Regarding the Proposition No of Law (PNL) presented by Compromís on the Public Procurement Law, José María Llanos has shown his amazement over the statement of Compromís deputy, Silverio Tena, who has stated that public procurement is one of the main drivers of the Spanish economy: "We do not want to believe it, but if it is true it is terrible that public employment is what stimulates the economy of a country."
On the other hand, José María Llanos has supported the Proposition No. of Law of the Citizens Parliamentary Group on the need for the municipalities of the Territorial Action Plan on flood risk prevention in the Valencian Community (Patricova) to develop their municipal action plans against to the risk of floods: “Action plans are essential in anticipation of everything that may happen, always. That is why we support this NLP ”.
