VOX Senator Jacobo González-Robatto harshly criticized the Executive today after decreeing the State of Alarm in Madrid, considering that the decision was made for political reasons and, in no case, health. For the senator, Madrid has become the "enemy to beat" because "it creates 25% of companies, 20% of jobs, the vast majority of foreign investment." For the senator, the capital of Spain "is proof that its policies are inefficient, absurd and generating unemployment," he told the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa.

“Madrid is becoming Covadonga, resisting the onslaught of totalitarianism, always with the law in hand, who seek to destroy the engine that remains in Spain. And to its political confinements, to all citizens except a few privileged with a ministerial card, ”said González-Robatto.

The senator has insisted on knowing why the criteria are applied only in the Community of Madrid. And he has reproached the head of Health for not taking measures in certain autonomous communities and cities, such as Aragón, La Rioja or Melilla, which present a cumulative incidence higher than that of the capital, with a worrying positivity ratio and an occupancy rate of the ICU beds of more than 35% marked, having "governments of their rope".

"Navarra, with a socialist government supported by the pro-ETAs, has been at the head of the positives, with a more than evident rise in infections, with 746 cases per 100,000 inhabitants," the senator denounced.

In short, "lack of criteria to save lives, lack of moral criteria and lack of sense of state of the Government in order to perpetuate itself in power."

Economic drowning

For the senator, the "occurrences" of the Government "undermine the health of citizens" and "drown them even more economically", but "the citizen is the last thing that worries this Government, leader in deaths per number of inhabitants in the countries Westerners, the highest in absolute numbers of infected toilets, those whose mouths you filled defending public health and leaving them without equipment, with defective material and alone at the feet of the horses, which they did not trust even to carry the infected from his ministerial Cabinet referring them to private health ».

The VOX senator took advantage of his reply to reproach Illa for not having done his homework, "which he has demanded of the Spanish." Now, he has said, "he comes to punish them for their incompetence and claws to an armchair from which he should have resigned if he had an iota of dignity and a sense of state, a long time ago."

González-Robatto has also advanced "cuts" by the Government that, as he has said, "are to come, sooner rather than later, that are going to give the coup de grace to millions of Spanish families." At this point he has denounced, again, that there are families who have had to choose between milk and masks. "You, who claim to defend the worker, the working families, look the other way," he criticized.

Finally, González-Robatto has denounced the impetus of the Executive "to carry out their most totalitarian intentions", which "shows how little love they have for democracy", and has exemplified: "The Superior Court of Justice of Madrid, with this confinement, it expressly stated that they constitute an interference by the public powers in the fundamental rights of citizens without legal authorization to protect it.

"But you do not care exactly the same, your political criteria prevails over all others, even, unfortunately as we see, over the lives of the Spanish," he concluded.
