The Municipal Group of VOX in the City of Granada has denounced the abandonment of the Plaza de La Caleta and the surroundings of the Virgen de las Nieves Hospital, for which it has demanded that the government team increase the security and cleaning measures in the area .
During a visit to the Los Doctores neighborhood, residents have transferred Beatriz Sánchez Agustino, councilor of VOX, who “has suffered for years from neglect by the Granada City Council, which neglects the disinfection needs of this square and puts at risk a an environment as sensitive as the entrances to the Virgen de las Nieves Hospital ”.
"We have verified that there is a settlement in the area of people who spend the night in the square and leave their belongings and mattresses a few meters from the hospital entrance, a situation that has been reported to the City Council, but they have ignored the concerns of the neighbors ”, has censored Beatriz Sánchez Agustino.
The councilor of VOX has verified “the dirt in the square, the lack of trees and plants in the flowerpots, the accumulation of objects and mattresses in various areas and the use of one of the entrances to the hospital as a makeshift bathroom, with the consequent damage for the health and hygiene of this place ”.
