VOX in Aragon considers the declarations of President Lambán in which he has urged the Medical Unions of Aragon (CESM Aragón and FASAMET to have "more eye-catching, shouldering and not putting sticks on the wheel" unfortunate and unfair and demands a rectification.

Likewise, Lambán has also referred to the magistrates and has suggested to them "that they start to make masks themselves and perhaps in this way we could sufficiently cover the hospitals and all the services that need them."

Lambán was in step with the three precautionary measures issued by the Social Courts of Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel –in response to the corresponding demands presented by the Medical Unions of Aragon- that oblige the Government of Aragon to provide the appropriate equipment for individual protection (EPIs) to the professionals of the Health and Social Services of Aragon for their daily work in the coronavirus crisis.

Solidarity with health professionals

From VOX in Aragon we express our solidarity, particularly with the health personnel who, throughout this crisis, are giving their all and risking their lives without adequate protective equipment.

In fact, the Primary Care and Hospital Doctors denounce that the lack of PPE is already a clamor, and they highlight the citizen and solidarity response to the passivity of HEALTH. Therefore, it is surprising that Javier Lambán accuses the medical unions of "not stooping his shoulder" for asking the courts for the protection measures they need and that their government is unable to provide. "

Finally, VOX in Aragon considers it regrettable that the President of the Autonomous Executive makes these statements, on the same day that a sharp rise in the numbers of professionals infected by the coronavirus in Aragon has been known, with a total of 452 health workers affected, 142 more than yesterday (an increase of 45.8%), which already represent more than 18% of the global number of cases registered in the Autonomous Community.
