VOX in Aragon with the Association of Anticoagulated Patients ASANAR. In Aragon there are already more than 50,000 anticoagulants.

The VOX Parliamentary Group in Aragon has held a meeting with those responsible for ASANAR. During the meeting held in the Courts of Aragon, spokesperson Santiago Morón was informed about the importance of self-control for anticoagulated patients through the use of coagulometers.

They have also commented on their concern that coagulometers are not acquired sufficiently from the health department, and they have suspended training courses for their management.

From ASANAR they point out that with the acquisition of more coagulometers, hours of nursing care could be saved, even for a primary care physician. Which would be relevant in the current situation.

In addition, and for those who use new anticoagulants, ASANAR reports that kidney analytical controls are not performed every six months as recommended by European regulations.

ASANAR has conveyed to the parliamentary group the importance of being aware that anticoagulant controls are not mere periodic analyzes. And that the peculiarities of the treatment require training by people in Oral Anticoagulant Treatment.

VOX has made a commitment with those responsible for ASANAR to propose initiatives to promote the acquisition of coagulometers. And to improve the quality of life of people with Oral Anticoagulant Treatment, as well as their relatives.
