VOX in Zaragoza proposes the incorporation of new payment methods in public transport. The municipal group will raise a question in this regard at the next public services and mobility commission.

The Aragonese capital has much fewer options than other cities in Spain and Europe. For example, the Madrid EMT allows you to pay with the “contactless” system or even with your mobile. And in many European cities you can pay through an app or with a credit card. The current ban on paying in cash has accentuated the problem, which particularly affects visitors to our city.

This is possibly not the most appropriate time to undertake the investments that would be necessary to implement these systems. But the truth is that the public transport of our city cannot remain anchored. While, in other cities, new technologies are incorporated that facilitate and expand the payment possibilities.
