Jerez de la Frontera, November 26, 2020. – The team of VOX Jerez demands the government of Mamen Sánchez increase police surveillance in the Scout Movement park (Jardines de Santo Domingo), before the health and coexistence problems that the neighbors are suffering.
VOX Jerez has received complaints from residents of the area about the problems of vandalism and dirt in the park. They report a lack of cleaning, which is not done daily.
In addition, despite the restrictions due to the pandemic, young people gather in violation of curfew hours, no masks and no safety distance. According to the complaints sent by the neighbors themselves, the nights of many weekends are turning into a nightmare for the bottles until the wee hours of the morning.
Besides of health risk which means that young people do not comply with anti-Covid regulations, neighbors report the poor condition of green areas the next day. They have to walk through a very dirty park with the remains of the bottle, in a sorry state.
Therefore, VOX Jerez demands a solution from the City Council. Urge a reinforcement of the cleaning service and the security system of the Local Police in the area, especially at night.
