The Municipal VOX Group at the Azuqueca City Council will defend two motions at the next municipal plenary session on July 30. In the first one, the consistory is urged to create a Local Trade Commission. In the words of training spokesman Javier Ortega should "serve to strengthen a particularly vulnerable sector in this situation of economic and social crisis derived from the pandemic. A proposal, such as the one we have brought to plenary, enables professionals and political representatives of all parties with representation to collaborate and create a space in which to share proposals. The objective is to define a strategy that is firmly committed to promoting local commerce and, with it, the important work carried out by our freelancers and professionals from Azuqueca"

The second of the motions, requests the City Council to create a Municipal Textbook Bank. Ortega stressed that for VOX "The priority is our neighbors, the families who assume with their savings the consequences of this harsh health and social crisis. We must be with them in these difficult times and offer solutions that alleviate the economic burden that they must assume in matters such as the expense derived from the schooling of their children. ” For this reason, the creation of the bank and a bibliographic repository of materials that make up the school curriculum are proposed. A measure that, as stated by the party led by Santiago Abascal, "would contribute to reducing the average cost of € 1,500 assumed by each family unit at the beginning of the school year ”.
