VOX in Aragon has proposed to the Cortes the creation of a Special Commission for the Coronavirus. It will serve to treat, in parliamentary headquarters, everything related to the coronavirus. In all its aspects, mainly health, social and economic.

The VOX Parliamentary Group in Aragon expresses its total willingness to collaborate with the reactivation of Aragon in health, social and economic matters. In the coming months, decisions of vital importance to the lives of the Aragonese will be made. That will affect all areas.

Due to the scope of such measures, we believe that they should be taken at the parliamentary seat. With full knowledge of citizens and access to all sectors of Aragonese society. That they can contribute ideas and solutions. Which will be in everyone's benefit.

The purpose of the Special Coronavirus Commission will be to act as a multidisciplinary forum. There, the different Parliamentary Groups and specialists from various fields will work on measures to be adopted in the health field. Provide solutions to problems in the social sphere. And launch proposals for the economic reactivation of Aragon.

Special Commission proposal for the Coronavirus

The composition of the Commission will consist of one representative for each political formation with parliamentary representation. And it will be assisted by the Legal Services of the Cortes de Aragón, adopting possible agreements by weighted vote.

The members of the Commission will elect a coordinator from among their members. To whom will correspond the functions of convening and ordering the debate of the same. The call may also be requested by a Parliamentary Group.

The Commission may agree on the incorporation of specialists. As scientific associations of Primary Care and Specialized Care related to the disease. Trade unions and health professional colleges. Or representatives of the business fabric of Aragon …

As for the rules of organization and operation, the Commission will have the character of advisor to the Government of Aragon, the deliberations, as well as the conclusions, will be public.

The term to complete the work will initially be one year, and may be extended at its decision, if circumstances so require. At the end, an opinion will be drawn up that will gather the conclusions adopted within the Commission and will be submitted to the plenary session.
