Chipiona, August 24, 2020. – The VOX coordinator in Chipiona, Antonio Jimenez, is very concerned about the lack of information, by the Junta de Andalucía, on the security measures that are going to be implemented in the schools of the municipality such as prevention against Covid-19.
Jiménez warns that, “three weeks after the start of the new school year, many teachers have conveyed their concern to us considering that the local schools are not prepared before the pandemic ”.
"In other areas of our daily life we see how limitations are being imposed on the number of people in social gatherings, vehicle occupation, reduced capacity in shops, bars or sports facilities … However, it does not seem a problem put our children in classrooms, with 25 or 30 students plus the teacher, without any protection against the virus”, Says the VOX coordinator in Chipiona.
"Maybe those responsible for the regional administration think that, when they enter the schools, a magic cloak will protect them and they will be able to pass six hours in a room with 30 people safely, "he says.
