Madrid, May 31, 2019.

The spokesman of the Parliamentary Group VOX (GPVOX), Iván Espinosa de los Monteros and the general secretary, Macarena Olona, have requested this Friday all the available information about the work of the consultant Ernst & Young relative to the wage equalization of the State Security Forces and Corps.

Espinosa de los Monteros and Olona have registered in Congress the request for this information in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Regulation, which states that "the deputies may seek from the Public Administrations the data or reports held by them" so that they can comply with the exercise of their parliamentary activity. Once the request has been submitted to the Presidency of the Bureau, the requested Administration must provide the requested documentation within 30 days or, otherwise, inform the Presidency of the Congress of the reasons that prevent this information from being provided.

A KEY REPORT

In this case, the information requested by the Parliamentary Group VOX refers to the consultancy contract awarded by the Ministry of the Interior to ERNST & YOUNG ABOGADOS, SLP, with the objective of "analyzing the remuneration and tasks of the jobs in the field of the State Security Forces and Bodies. " The report, formalized on September 3 and with a deadline of six months, has cost 120,516.00 euros of public money (taxes included).

The importance of this information lies in the fact that the work of consultancy made by Ernst & Young is aimed at indicating whether the 807 million euros in which the agreement between the different unions of Police and Civil Guard and Interior was closed on March 12, 2018 are sufficient for an effective and real salary comparison.

After more than three months since the end of the deadline for the delivery of the report, Interior has not made public the conclusions of the consultancy nor has it responded to requests for information and transparency from different police unions and Guardia Civil associations.

In this way, and faithful to the commitment established by VOX with salary equalization and the remuneration worthy of the State Security Forces, spokesperson and general secretary request to be delivered the required information that, since last February, the Acting Minister of Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, and the Secretary of State for Security keep hidden.

"There is a lot of work to be done throughout this Legislature and VOX will demonstrate with concrete and coherent actions its support, not only to the FYCSE, but also to the Armed Forces, Prison Officers and other groups of public servants who deserve a dignified treatment. of the public powers, "say Macarena Olona and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, who added that" this Friday is another step in the recognition and achievement of a legitimate claim that the FYCSE have been claiming for more than 30 years.
