Murcia, February 21, 2020.- VOX Murcia has joined the concentration organized by ASAJA, COAG and UPA in which the field has taken the capital with 250 tractors and thousands of protesters.

The National Deputy Luis Gestoso, the Regional Deputy Pascual Salvador, Senator José Marín and the Provincial President José Ángel Antelo, as well as numerous positions and councilors from all points of the Region such as Cartagena, Lorca, San Javier, Torre Pacheco or Mula and a large number of party affiliates and supporters, they have been part of this important mobilization defending the agricultural and livestock sector since it suffers a problem of low prices, a particularly unfortunate situation for the Region of Murcia where the contribution of the agricultural sector to GDP reaches the share of 20% ”.
Under the slogan “Without farmers and ranchers, what will we eat tomorrow?”, The demonstration has passed without incident and recalling that the objective of the demonstration is to denounce abusive commercial practices and behaviors of agri-food distribution, which prevent producers from receiving fair prices for their products that compensate for production costs.
From VOX we claim that the first is our national product and we remember that the Sánchez government is more aware of the assignments to the independentists than of the real problems of the Spaniards, arriving late to the negotiation of tariffs and now the families of the countryside pay the consequences.
In addition, the current drop in prices on products such as olive oil, cereal or wine is due, among other factors, to the importation of agricultural products from countries such as Morocco or Tunisia with much lower production costs.

Those responsible for VOX present on the tour have spoken with the protesters listening to their needs first hand and have reiterated their support for this unfair situation, highlighting that they are not guilty of the crisis caused by the irresponsibility of left-wing politicians.
