The situation in the Spanish countryside is unsustainable. Farmers and ranchers deserve that the administrations carry out the application of real solutions that help to end the injustice that our farmers are experiencing.
From the VOX parliamentary group we are determined to ensure that the Government of the Junta de Andalucía urges the Government of the Nation to apply the necessary measures so that the agricultural and livestock industry sees its just demands fulfilled.
Given the negligence of the different national and regional governments in the defense of a sector that is one of the main engines of our economy, the deputy of the VOX parliamentary group by Almeria, Rodrigo Alonso, presents a non-law proposal aimed at Table of the Parliament in which the Government of the Junta de Andalucía is urged to defend the interests of the Spanish countryside by approving the following points:
- Promote a contingency plan to alleviate the negative effects of increased wage costs and fiscal pressure.
- Promote a plan of measures to reduce production costs for farmers and ranchers, which directly affect the decrease in the price of water and energy supplies, as well as an improvement in their taxation.
- End unfair competition from third countries, establishing measures to control extra-EU imports with the restoration of import certificates, control of tariff rates, review of minimum prices for entry of non-EU products and strengthen control and eradication of labeling Fraudulent product of non-EU origin.
- Be firm in the demands of the new CAP, defending the interests of the Spanish Field in the negotiations that are taking place with the European institutions.
- Design and implement a new National Hydrological Plan under the principle of solidarity between all the territories of Spain, which from respecting the sustainability of water resources and ecosystems, allows efficient water management that guarantees the equality of Spaniards .
- The Parliament of Andalusia urges the Government of Spain to establish a Specific Mutual Fund for the management of market crises for the entire fruit and vegetable sector, as a measure outside the operational programs of the OPFHs, and available to all farmers in equality of conditions.
In turn, the Parliament of Andalusia urges the Governing Council to
- Modify the Order of November 23, 2019, by which the aid provided for in the Order of June 27, 2016 is convened for 2019, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies, under competitive competition, aimed at investments for the restoration of agricultural land and production potential damaged by natural disasters, adverse climatic phenomena and catastrophes, within the framework of the Rural Development Program of Andalusia 2014-2020 to cover 100% of the damage suffered by the victims.
- Approve a line of loans with zero or super-reduced rates, aimed at investments for the restoration of agricultural land and production potential damaged by natural disasters, adverse climatic phenomena and catastrophes.
- Promote a modernization plan for all agricultural sector infrastructures, with special emphasis on the self-employed and small family farms, requiring the contracting of agricultural insurance for new infrastructure.
