VOX Talavera It demands to fulfill the commitments of the Pact for the Recovery of Talavera and its Region.

VOX councilor David Moreno defends that "Talavera urgently requires investments that create jobs, we want realities not more unfulfilled promises."

Last week the Municipal Group of VOX in the City of Talavera de la Reina registered a Motion for debate and approval in the next plenary session on December 17, which aims to reactivate the vindication of the signed and unfulfilled commitments in the Pact for the Recovery of Talavera and its Region.

David Moreno, Councilor spokesman for GM VOX in the City of Talavera considers "that the General State Budgets and the Autonomous Budgets, both for 2021, consider the investment commitments with the Talavera region as forgotten with the complicit silence of Mayor Tita García ”and from VOX“ we are not going to allow it ”.

“It is a shame to see how Plenary after Plenary, the Mayor and her socialist government team vote against the interests of the Talaveranos. In the last one they voted against requesting economic contributions from the Board for Talavera Fair and rejected amendments that requested budgetary allocations to comply with the investments committed in the Pact for Talavera ”.

"The Mayor acts as a shield to PAGE, before the demands of the Talaveranos"

Brown recalls that as a result of the social movement and two large demonstrations with the motto "For the future of Talavera", the so-called "Pact for the Recovery of Talavera and the Region”. Said pact includes a series of services, infrastructures and investments that are necessary and essential to boost the economy of the region and influence the creation of jobs, which continue without becoming a reality.

Among the most relevant, it is worth highlighting: the Logistics Platform, doubling and electrification of tracks, high-performance train, opening of a second point of continuous care, hemodynamics unit, a second mobile ICU, doubling of the entrances to Talavera, etc.

As a novelty, from VOX Talavera With this motion it is intended that the Pact for the Recovery of Talavera and its Region signed by the Government of Spain by ratifying and signing the commitments acquired in said document. It must be remembered that at that time the PP governed, the current senator Jose Julian Gregorio being the Government Delegate and they did not appear at the signing of the document.

According to Moreno "The objective is to achieve the budgetary allocations necessary to enforce the commitments acquired, which are none other than the needs of this region."
