During the month of May, the total number of benefits paid by the State Public Employment Service has risen to 5,988,572, of which 791,921 are new benefits.
The total includes unemployment benefits and those affected by an ERTE, including those who returned fully or partially to activity during the month of May. The total amount paid for these benefits has risen, in the month of May, to 5,121 million euros.
