The Civil Guard checks with the Labor Inspection the compliance of the ERTE in several agricultural companies

During the inspections, the activity of agricultural companies and farms is verified, as well as the situation and conditions of the workers

Work methods, schedules, telework system, as well as labor and Social Security documentation are also supervised.

The Civil Guard, in collaboration with the Labor Inspectorate, is carrying out several inspections on agricultural farms in Zaragoza in which the correct application of the Temporary Employment Regulation Files (ERTE) is verified.

Since the middle of this month, Judicial Police officers from the Civil Guard have collaborated with the Labor Inspectorate in verifying compliance with these files.
During the inspections, aspects such as the activity of agricultural companies and farms, as well as the situation and conditions of workers, are also analyzed.
In these actions, the Civil Guard also requests information regarding work methods, hours, telework system, as well as labor and Social Security documentation.
The information collected in all inspections will be analyzed by the acting officials to verify the existence of possible irregularities.
So far they have already completed an inspection in a company in Cariñena (Zaragoza) in order to control the application of ERTE and verify if the workers affected by this measure complied with the precepts established by law.
At the same time, in Caspe and Mequinenza (Zaragoza), several farms have also been inspected, where the conditions – both habitability and labor – of the workers who carry out work on these farms have been verified.
These actions are carried out keeping the appropriate sanitary security measures on the occasion of the COVID19.
