VOX asks the government team for help to guarantee the conciliation of Granada families

The Municipal Group of VOX has requested the government team of the Granada City Council to grant direct financial aid to guarantee the reconciliation of families in this school year in the face of the new educational scenarios as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mónica Rodríguez Gallego, councilor of VOX, has registered a request to present it to the Ordinary Plenary of September warning that «great uncertainty has arisen at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year and, due to the reprehensible lack of foresight of the Government of the Nation, the Granada City Council should now promote economic aid that is granted directly to those families registered in the municipality, in order to ensure family conciliation and that the schooling of their children runs normally »

Specifically, Mónica Rodríguez Gallego has made reference to "the difficulties that families with minors in their care have faced at this beginning of the year, especially those in a situation of economic or social vulnerability."

"It is the obligation of the municipality to offer families solutions that help them to adapt to this new environment that has befallen us by a pandemic, poorly managed from the beginning, and that, as always, the weakest end up suffering," said the councilor of VOX, for whom "this government team cannot turn its back on a problem that is increasingly spreading among the most defenseless population and must reach out to help them face this crisis with more force."
