The Secretary of State for Security, Rafael Peréz, together with the director of the Civil Guard, María Gámez, presented the miGC mobile website this morning. This is a new page that the Civil Guard has developed so that all its staff can access from their mobile phone, connecting from inside or outside the workplace.

This new mobile website will contain corporate information as well as the latest most relevant news from the Corps. Through their mobile device, each member of the Civil Guard may also carry out personal procedures related to the service and others of interest that the Social Action Service will offer.

The Secretary of State for Security has presented the mobile website "miGC" at the Civil Guard facilities, which he has described as an example of avant-garde and technological development.

Rafael Pérez has highlighted the work of the civil guards who are the best asset and make the Civil Guard the most recognized Institution by citizens.

The Secretary of State for Security has indicated the need for the Institutions to make available to their members tools that facilitate the management of internal procedures and can have access, anywhere and quickly, to personal and professional information. In this way, they can contribute to the internal communication policy, which is the true object of digital transformation and to which this new web tool responds.

In her presentation, the general director of the Civil Guard, María Gámez, announced that miGC will be able to process applications for place residencies, check payrolls, check the granting of allowances and see the available permit credit.

Gámez congratulated the Civil Guard IT Service for the development of this new mobile website that, according to what he has advanced, is a first step for the future app that will be tendered in the first quarter of the new year.

The general director has indicated that this project – with which it is intended to continue advancing in the Digital Transformation of the Civil Guard – follows the lines set out in the Digital Strategy 2025. Gámez recalled that there are other applications such as SIGO-Mobility or My intervention of Weapons are already underway and that have meant that the Civil Guard is a pioneer within the Administration in advancing towards digital transformation.

To access the contents of the miGC mobile website, it is only necessary to have a device connected to the internet and load the page associated with the URL: http://migc.guardiacivil.es/.

Other management functionalities are currently in the development phase that will be implemented in later versions, such as the management of travel and accommodation reservations for service commissions.
