Advancement of the schedule of the functions of "O agora que delay"

On the occasion of the entry into force of the new mobility restrictions against COVID-19 in the Community of Madrid, and with the aim of safeguarding compliance with the measure that advances the curfew at eleven o'clock at night from today Monday 18 and until Sunday, January 31; the National Dramatic Center has decided to advance the schedule of the functions of Or now what delay.

The play, which will host the Valle-Inclán Theater between January 21 and 24, with an approximate duration of two hours, it will begin half an hour before schedule in its functions from Thursday to Saturday, leaving the schedules of the representations established as follows:

  • Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 January: 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 24: 12 p.m.

In addition, we are sorry to announce the cancellation of the meeting with the public scheduled for Friday, January 22 after the performance.

Or now what delay is the latest project by one of the most international Brazilian creators, Christiane Jatahy. This Belgian-Brazilian co-production constitutes the second part of the diptych Our odyssey, based on the work of Homer.

With a hybrid format that combines cinematographic and theatrical language, the piece offers the viewer an odyssey with a documentary roots, through an experimental narrative where fiction and reality blur their limits. Jenin (Palestine), some refugee camps from Lebanon and Greece; the African cosmopolis of downtown Johannesburg; or indigenous communities of the Amazon rainforest are the different settings from which Jatahy asks us the question: "What can a fiction from three thousand years ago teach us about us?"
