Inmaculada Benito joins CEOE as the new Director of Tourism, Culture and Sports, as planned in order to continue advancing in 2021 in improving collaboration and defending business interests in all the forums in which the company participates. Confederacy.

At the same time, she will perform the duties of secretary of the Tourism Council and of the Culture and Sports Commission of CEOE.

With this incorporation, CEOE reinforces its structure to continue working with determination in promoting key sectors for the productive fabric and the Spanish economy, in general.

Inmaculada de Benito has been part of the Iberostar Group from 2017 to date. He initially joined the Company in the operations department as Deputy Chief Operations Officer. The last two years he has held the position of corporate director of the office of the CEO, Communication and Institutional Relations.

Previously, since 2002, she has been linked to hotel business organizations occupying different positions such as General Secretary – Manager of the Associations of Playa de Palma (AHPP), Palma (ASHPAMA) and Agrupación de Cadenas Hoteleras (ACH).

Between January 2007 and September 2008 she was linked to the public administration as Manager of the Urban Development Consortium of Playa de Palma.

Subsequently, it was in 2010 when she joined the Mallorca Hotel Federation where she has held the positions of Manager and Vice President, being elected Executive President in May 2015, a position that she held until September 2017.

In her most academic stage, she was Director of the Tourism Research Laboratory of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and Director of the Department of Leisure and Tourism of the Fundación Universidad Empresa.

Inmaculada Benito has a degree in the General Management Program (PDG) of IESE University of Navarra; in the Department of Public Affairs (PDAP) of ICADE- Universidad Pontificia de Comillas; at the ICLD, in the Complexity Leadership Course taught by the CEDE Foundation; in the Postgraduate Diploma in Global Corporate Communication taught by ESADE; in the Master of Tourism Management and Planning from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB); and in the Master in Hospitality Management from Sheffield Hallam University; in addition to a Graduate in Tourism from the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB).
