The number 2 for Barcelona, Anna Grau, asks that restaurateurs and hoteliers do not have to choose between "complying with the restrictions or going bankrupt" and asks for aid to cover losses and pay the rent.
"The most moderate and sensible government possible after the elections is one led by Cs with the support of the PSC." This has been said by the secretary of communication and deputy of Citizens (Cs), Nacho Martin Blanco, when attending the media together with the number 2 for Barcelona, Anna Grau, after meeting with hoteliers and restaurateurs from Castelldefels. Martín Blanco has pointed out that "many Catalans are concerned that the 'procés' may continue after the elections" due to a pact between ERC and Junts, but also "due to the possibility of a pact between the PSC and Podemos and ERC". For this reason, he has remarked that they consider “that the best thing that can happen to Catalonia is a government led by Cs with the support of the PSC” so as not to let the socialists choose between a ‘tripartite’ or JxCAT.
The orange deputy explained that "most of the constitutional voters, and even the socialists, share the will to have a loyal government with the rest of Spain and to turn the page on the 'procés'" and has pointed out the importance of "concentrating the constitutional vote in Cs to prevent the PSC from electing ERC ”as a partner. Regarding the statements of the socialist candidate and even the minister of health, Salvador Illa, that the government with Podemos works well, Martín Blanco has pointed out that “it is worrying that he affirms that this pact in the government works when it is an executive who does not attend to the demands of the citizens and that punishes the important sectors of the economy ”.
