The arrested man was considered the most wanted escapee in Luxembourg, in addition to being a priority target of EUROPOL, with his photograph on the European Most Wanted list
He was wanted by the Luxembourg Authorities for the acts committed in 1999 when, at just 18 years of age, he beat a woman to the end of her life and later burned her body in order to try to hide the crime
Citizen collaboration has been essential for locating the escape, which would have been hidden in the Huelva town for about eight years
