The VOX deputy in the Melilla Assembly, Javier Da Costa, has registered this Friday a motion to urge the Government to take appropriate measures so that immigrants do not leave the reception centers without the mandatory mask. The training recalls that it corresponds to the competent bodies of the general administration of the State, the autonomous communities and local entities, the functions of surveillance, inspection and control of the measures established in the Royal Decree Law 21/2020 in the face of the Covid pandemic -19.

For this reason, VOX will ask the Executive, through the Assembly, to adopt the necessary measures, "transmitting the corresponding instructions to those duly responsible", so that "in any of the reception centers for immigrants, the inmates without the mandatory mask ”. A measure in line with those adopted for the entire population that, if they do not use a mask, faces the imposition of fines.
