The plenary session of the Zaragoza City Council has approved this Monday, November 23, the constitution of the Board of Economic-Administrative Claims. A pending task for the consistory for 16 years. And what VOX had already insisted on since the beginning of the current legislature.

Already on September 17, 2019, the VOX spokesperson, Julius calvohe asked a question. It was in the plenary Commission of the Presidency, Finance and Interior, Economy, Innovation and Employment:

"Is the current municipal government going to carry out the organizational and regulatory modifications, as well as the budgetary allocation necessary for the immediate implementation of the Municipal Board of Economic-Administrative Claims in accordance with the provisions of the Law?"

The Regulatory Law of the Bases of Local Regime created the bodies to carry out economic-administrative claims. By virtue of this, the Zaragoza City Council approved in 2004 a Regulatory Regulation for municipal administrative economic claims. There it was contemplated the creation of the Municipal Board of Economic-Administrative Claims, which 16 years later was still not created.

“In the mayoral decree of June 2015, signed then by Pedro Santisteve, within the area of Economy and Culture, the Municipal Board of Economic-Administrative Claims was created. Something that was not carried out in practice during the mandate of Zaragoza In Common. And in the mayoral decree of June 2019, signed by the current mayor Jorge Azcón, that Board disappeared ”, lamented Julio Calvo. Who has also recalled the existence of "a report from Justice to carry out the effective implementation" of the Board of Economic-Administrative Claims.

Now, it will be a reality, the result of VOX's work.
