The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has sent, for the second consecutive day, 4 aerial media to Catalonia as support to put down the forest fire declared in the town of Torre de l'Espanyol in Tarragona.
Since the first hour of the morning, 2 Canadair amphibious airplanes of 5,500 liters of discharge capacity from the Torrejón bases in Madrid and Zaragoza have been moved to zone 2.
Two cargo planes have also been sent to land Airtractor 802, with a capacity of 3,100 liters, from the bases of Empuriabrava in Gerona.
These means continue the works of extinction that developed yesterday the 4 airplanes sent to the zone by the Ministry. Specifically, 1 Canadair amphibious aircraft, 2 cargo planes on the ground and 1 Communications and Observation aircraft that recorded aerial images in real time on the evolution of the fire.
