CEOE has approved the incorporation of Uber, a leading mobility company through vehicles with driver, scooters, bicycles and food delivery service.

The platform will participate in the consultative bodies of CEOE, mainly in its Commissions for Sustainable Development and Environment, Social Dialogue and Employment, Social Security and Occupational Risk Prevention, Digital Society, Transport and Logistics, and the Commission of European Union.

The agreement for this integration has been signed by Juan Galiardo Sosa, director of Uber in Spain, and by José Alberto González-Ruiz, CEOE CEO. During the event, which was also attended by Marta Anadón, general manager of Uber Eats for Spain and Portugal, Galiardo said he was proud to join “the main business association of the country, CEOE, with whom we share a firm commitment to the business fabric and the same vision of the future for our cities ”.

Galiardo has added that, also, this alliance “will allow joining efforts and responding in a coordinated way to the socio-economic challenges and opportunities posed by the digitalization of the economy. Immediately, in addition, we will work together to define an ecosystem of sustainable and competitive mobility for Spain, which improves the quality of life of citizens and is a reference in Europe. "

For his part, the CEOE CEO has assured that “for the Confederation, having the main transport service provider through application is very important, since new business models and digitalization are a fundamental pillar of the organization".
