The Board of Directors, chaired by the President of EIOPA, Gabriel Bernardino, has the mission of ensuring that the European Authority carries out its mission and performs the tasks assigned to it in accordance with its Regulations.
The members of the Board of Directors are elected for a period of two and a half years, which can be extended once.
