The main investigated would have made, in just 5 months, more than 16,500 shipments of tobacco throughout the national territory, adding a total of 54 tons of cut tobacco and obtaining a profit of more than one million euros
The packages – which were transported from Córdoba to Ciudad Real in vans – were perfectly packed and ready for shipment in individualized one-kilo bags, vacuum sealed and with coffee beans to camouflage the smell.
The agents have made five searches and have intervened 4,000 kilos of tobacco cuttings, machinery for its processing and packaging, in addition to some 287,000 euros
